Dengue & blood donat: The virus that causes dengue fever does not stay in the body indefinitely. It is not a chronic condition and the virus is eventually cleared out. Four weeks post-dengue infection has been used by some authorities as a reasonable safety period. Seven years is more than enough time, but do at least mention this to the blood donation agency.

American Red Cross: recommends deferring blood donations for 6 months if you have had Dengue Fever. “In most countries, donors who have been infected with dengue virus are deferred for periods of up to 6 months or even longer if they have received blood transfusions.” REF: REF: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2713854/ REF: http://www.americanredcrossblood.org/faq.html
