Is it possible for me to take my pregnancy test too early?

Yes: Depending on your cycle length. If you have a 35 day cycle, you must do your pregnancy test after 35 days from Day 1 of your cycle or 2 weeks after ovulation. Doing a pregnancy test too early is an excellent source of unnecessary anxiety that you do not need. Patience is better.

Yes: At least one early pregnancy test product states it can provide results 6 days prior to a missed period. The company states it is > 99% accurate the day of the expected period. If you are using a standard pregnancy test would wait until you miss a period. If negative and still no period would repeat HPT in a week. Take care.
