Speak to surgeon: In general uncomplicated hernia , 2 months is sufficient time to do all activities , in normal healing process collagen deposits in 3 wks , 8 wks is plenty of time if you have no other associated problems , but speak to your surgeon .

Yes, okay to resume: It should be fine to engage in sexual activity, based on any discomfort you may have. Obviously, any extra strenuous activities, be it weight lifting, heavy pushing or pulling, or heavy squatting, should be limited until you get past 8-10 weeks. Normal activities, including sex, should be okay at this point.
