Interesting: yes: Easy to check: "interpret" (differently) >> consider when we have to explain "what I meant was..."; or "hear" (differently) >> make a voice recording - your voice will sound different. While brain is designed to be self-correcting via self-feedback the systems have limits. Incoming data is filtered according to emotive state and salience issues - variable according to source.
