My opinion: If you left the phone # used as your method of contact - it may not be a HIPAA violation. Please check Understanding Health Information Privacy (for consumers) on this site: http://www.hhs.gov/ocr/privacy/hipaa/understanding/ for a fuller understanding of how HIPAA works. Would encourage you to be specific with requests about how you wish to be contacted in the future.
