A member asked:

Why do men have more difficulty seeing color than women?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not universal: Color deficiency, an inherited inability to distinguish certain colors, is 8 times more common in men then women. 92% of men and 99% of women have normal color perception equal to each other. Women are more attuned to color on average, so they may have a little keener color perception, but this is social training and not physiological.
