A member asked:

What to do if i have a benign bone tumor in my knee, what kind of damage can that cause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Very little: The benign bone tumors around the knee are the osteomas, chondromas and giant cell tumors. Unless they grow very large, there will be little symptoms other than recognizing their presence. If very large there may be pain as periosteum expands or with giant cell tumor the lesion can grow large and become unstable requiring cryosurgery.
