Question too vague: Your question is too vague.Who had told you that you have a benign tumor.There are different kind of benign tumors and treatment depends on symptoms,the siteand size of the tumor and the type of tumor.Some tumor may need to be excised while others may be observed and still others may need nothing at all So discuss with your doctor what your options are

Maybe, but: Without examining you and knowing your full history, it would only be a guess. Be sure to follow-up with your dr. and know exactly what the area seen on your x-ray is. Good luck.
