See below: If before you've seen the doctor, call the office and see if they can still see you (as an indigent patient). If after you've seen the doctor, again call the office and see if they can reduce your bill, write it off (agree to provide free care), or develop a payment plan. Then, either sign up for a commercial plan, go to healthcare.gov, or try to sign up with Medicaid for future care.
