Dengue: It is common to see an elevation of the liver enzymes during acute Dengue fever. This is a temporary finding, and, with recovery, the liver enzymes return to normal. It is advisable to be under a doctor's care for this, as Dengue may cause other abnormalities, such as very low white cell and platelet counts.
