Probably: If you are crying constantly with no environmental cause you are probably depressed. Antidepressants can help but do not make depression go away. You probably need to seek therapy, exercise, get plenty of sleep, and try to identify why you are crying and what you want to do about this.

DEPRESSION: Antidepressants help but may not be enough because they do not teach you coping mechanisms. Psychotherapy with a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy can help your medications to work better. Best to discuss medication with a Psychiatrist. If not comfortable with your Dr. see another for a second opinion & have a physical exam to rule out illness.
