A member asked:

How do you differentiate nephrotic to acute glumerulonephritis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Glomerulonephritis: Nephrotic syndrome indicates heavy losses of protein into the urine. Glomerulonephritis does not have heavy losses of protein and it may have blood in the urine and high blood pressure and kidney impairment as part of its syndrome.
