Maybe: Chest wall inflammation can cause breast pain. I assume that you have had a thorough evaluation including a breast exam, mammography, and possible an ultrasound if there is a particular area of concern.

Costochondritis: We all have very small joint spaces between our ribs. These can get inflamed and cause pain. Usually pain to touching the chest wall and taking deep breaths as the chest opens up when we deep breath so these joints are being stretched. NSAIDS help some, like ibuprofen. Sometimes a short course of steroids help too.
