Various things there: Back pain (generally within 6 inches of That Spot) occurs in nearly everyone sometime. Kidneys are there... would expect problems with urination. Sciatic nerve is there... would expect extending a leg in a straight out kick to REALLY tug on it and hurt ! And.... muscles are there... local pressing on them, stiffness, pain with certain movements would imply muscles as cause.
