If your eye is still hurting especially if having light sensitivity make sure you make a prompt appointment with an Ophtalmologist for evaluation.

Recurrent erosion occurs because the original area did not seal properly. Treatment initially consists of lubricating drops(non preserved) and a bland ointment bedtime. If not successful an ophthalmologist might try a bandage contact lens or other minor procedures.Also if dry eye is present that must be treatment.
