A member asked:

Will neurogenic atrophy go away when damaged nerves heal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Atrophy is a bad sign because it means the process is extremely severe or has been going on for a long time or both. Reversing the underlying cause may only stop the atrophy from progressing. Whether or not this is possible depends on the disease causing it
