A member asked:

I'm only 3 months pregnant and it seems like i get full faster with each passing day is this normal or should i see a doctor about this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal: Especially in the 1st tri Easter, the hormones of pregnancy slow your bowel down, causing bloating. It usually gets better in the 2nd trimester, but then gets bad again in the 3rd due to the enlarging uterus pushing on the bowels. You want to get the necessary calories, though, so you may find that eating 5 smaller meals instead of 3 large meals may help.
