Normal: Especially in the 1st tri Easter, the hormones of pregnancy slow your bowel down, causing bloating. It usually gets better in the 2nd trimester, but then gets bad again in the 3rd due to the enlarging uterus pushing on the bowels. You want to get the necessary calories, though, so you may find that eating 5 smaller meals instead of 3 large meals may help.
