Normal : Very. Normal response. The key is to look for redness and irritation are crusting in the area should be looked into. But some swelling and pain with pregnancy is very normal.

Don't ignore the sym: You should check with your Ob/Gyn and not ignore the symptoms. This could mean serious breast pathology like cancer.
