Lubrication or rest: You can use a water-based lubricant, but make sure it has no spermicide in it. Having sex every day is not necessary if you are trying to conceive. You fertile days are around cycle day 10-16 (cycle day 1 is the 1st day of your period). Sperm can survive 2-3 days when there is good cervical mucous. Try to pay attention and watch for a clear, egg-white discharge. That is fertile mucous.
