Confusing statement: True hypothyroidism noted near birth or in childhood is a lifelong problem. The issue is so important early positive tests may lead to treatment until repeat testing clarifies the issue.Doubt you have a thyroid issue but it is easily tested. They estimate 6mo as the average duration for first timer TTC before success. If you pass a year, a fertility study for you both would be in order.
