A member asked:

Can the side effect dizziness, when prescribed htn medication, be a continuing experience when the dosage remains the same since body may not adjust?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: Dizziness associated with treatment for HTN may be related to relative dehydration, changes in body position, or the blood pressure dropping too low from the medication. Changes in response to medication sometimes occur as we age, and being at the same dose for a period of time does not necessarily mean the response will always be the same. Your doctor can help sort this out.
