Blood clot: Sounds like a superficial vein blood clot. This is different than a deep vein blood clot. The deep vein blood clots are more dangerous. I would suggest seeing your doctor who will order a ultrasound to confirm that it is superficial. Aspirin is usually used for superficial thrombophlebitis and a vascular specialist may be required. If deep vein clot, u will require med's like warfarin or xarelto
