Know your options: Make an appointment as soon as you realize you are pregnant to discuss your options. The sooner you make that decision, the better. Often unexpected pregnancies are discovered later that planned pregnancies so you want to make sure you know your genetic screening options and prenatal care plan if you are continuing your pregnancy.
