Not bad, but...: It may not be effective this month, as it would be if you started it at the appropriate point in your cycle. That's why the doc told you to start it when he or she did. So for the first pack of pills you need to make sure you have a back-up form of contraception, such as a condom. You should be using a condom anyway to prevent STD's.
