Pelvic congestion: It basically means that the veins around the uterus are more enlarged and possibly not working quite as well as they should, causing some congestion. This can cause dull, aching pain, worse at the end of the day or after long periods of standing. Can be caused by pregnancy or increased estrogen which can cause vasodilation. Embolization, NSAIDs, hormonal therapy, and accupuncture can help.
