I have cramps. Yesterday 5 days before my period when I got up I used the toilet and had a pink discharge in the evening I had blood that was dark red after the toilet. Today I wiped & it was brown. What could this be. My period starts in 4 days ?

Pain in ankle, shin & calf. Newly on blood thinners as of a week ago. There's pain at rest & with movement. Should I be worried about dvt since there is some pain in the calf? No redness or swelling just pain in those locations. No injury or bedrest?
