I started my newborn on single grain gerber rice cereal 1x a day for 2 days now. she usually poops everyday once a day and she hasnt yet. what to do?

Plugged up: I use cereals to plug up a kid naturally after they develop diarrhea. Infants don't need cereals until 6 months, so I'm curious why a newborn would get them.That was the method 50 years ago but not today.Any time you alter babies diet it can effect their stool pattern.
