Eye bruise?: It's actually to cause a bruise to the sclera (white part of the eyes), possibly from rubbing too hard. It's called a scleral hemorrhage and can make part of the eyeball red like blood. It's generally not dangerous, but if you have vision changes or pain or it's getting worse, you should GET IT CHECKED. Don't rub your eyes too hard. If it's a small/mild, it should heal in a week or so.
