Probably: If the fibroid was subserosal, that is good since most of those can be removed with out entering the uterine cavity. However any surgery, especially abdominal, can cause scar tissue which can interfere with getting pregnant. I am not sure if you want to be pregnant in which case I would see a gyne, or if you don't want to be pregnant. In the latter case, I think you still need to use birth control.
