A member asked:

I've been taking antibiotics for an ear infection and i've had a nose bleed everyday for the past 4 days can the antibiotics be the reason to cause it?

Unlikely: More common causes of nose bleeds include sinus infection, allergies, excessive dryness of the nose, and medications such as antihistamines.

Unlikely: Anterior nose bleeds are related to irritant reactions in the frail capillaries of the nasal membranes.Fumes, dust, allergens, trauma all add to the difficulty. Keeping the nasal membranes moistened with saline wash or gel can usually end the symptom.
