Fever in the tropics: Flanax or Naproxen is an antiinflammatory & antipyretic medication. That is, it will reduce a fever without getting at the underlying cause. I think it is important to find out "what" is causing the fever- as some conditions could be quite dangerous. In the Philippines for example, a tropical country, I would think of malaria, dengue or other serious diseases that u don't want to miss. Hope u c MD
