I have superficial veins popping up on the dorsal part of my penis and they're really dark, i'm a 1st year medical student and idontknow what that is?

Answered yet?: I remembered this was answered. Most likely, it's a branch of penile dorsal vein, which has its own normal variation in its diameter, number, and distribution. But I wondered that "popping up" meant - recently occurring. The easiest thing to do is to ask one of your clinically related attending (since you're a medical student) to take a look at and palpate it so this riddle could be solved. Best..
