Is it possible to injure the penis? have noticed raised veins, bigger than usual. no pain, maybe a little at first. they dont go away. research shows dorsal vein or penile mondor disease. going on 4 weeks, still raised veins. doctor visit or normal?

Of course, the penis can be injured! Penile Mondor's disease is superficial thrombophlebitis of the dorsal vein. It usually occurs following vigorous sexual activity, but it's rare. Because it's clotted, the vein should be hard & non-compressible with some redness and pain over it. If no pain or inflammation, you might just have big veins from hydration and hot weather. Otherwise, see a urologist.
