Early Menopause: The average age for menopause in the states is about 55. Women tend to follow the same pattern as her mother. It is very unlikely you would be going through menopause at 34 unless you had a hysterectomy or other procedure that could have affected the blood supply to the ovaries. There is such a thing as premature ovarian failure, which can happen at any age.
