A member asked:

How often does someone have swollen lymph node in the neck that doesn't have a lump? for hiv in particular does swollen lymph nodes always have lump

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can you explain?: All swollen lymph nodes are lymps, though they may be deep and you can't feel them. And every male in his twenties, like you, has at least one or two palpable lymph nodes somewhere in the neck. Please do yourself a major favor right now, and go back to your physician and ask to be screened for HIV. Worrying like this is draining you of energy you need for other things. Best wishes.
