You should be fine..: Baking soda can be abrasive, but if used only once a week with a soft bristle toothbrush you should be fine. It will help keep your teeth clean and neutralize bacterial acids.

Baking soda: No. Baking soda is very mild in the abrasive scale and has chemical effects that neutralize acids on your teeth, so it should be fine.

Baking soda brushing: There are pros and cons to this practice. There are toothpastes that contain baking soda, it has the ability to help neutralize harmful acids caused by bacteria in your mouth, as well as polishing surface stain and deposit away. once a week would only be harmful if you are an overzealous scrubber. using it along with toothpaste, or alone with an electric toothbrush is probably the safest bet.
