PCOS: The diagnosis of polycystic ovarian syndrome may affect your fertility in the future, but we have treatments for that when the time comes. The hormones you have been prescribed are unlikely to decrease your future fertility. We prescribe different hormones when you were trying to conceive versus if you are avoiding pregnancy and have PCOS.
