Schistosomiasis: Where are you and where have you been? You will not see schistosomes in the USA. Best to take this specimen to an infectious diseases expert who has seen this disease before, or to a pathologist familiar with tropical diseases. Schistosoma hematobium can easily occur in the urinary tract, but the center of Germany is not a likely locale unless you are originally from the middle East or elsewhere
