NO: Get an antifungal. There are several creams available without prescription. The generics are not expensive. They include miconazole, clotrimazole, ketoconazole, terbinafine. The most effective is oral terbinafine. Many skin disorders may look like "ring worm" but are not caused by fungus. If you fail to respond to this treatment you should see a dermatologist.

Does silver sulfadiazine cream help get rid of ringworm?

Maybe.: Theoretically it would kill many types of ringworm fungus species, but it is not approved for that indication - and plenty of cheap and effective creams are available specifically for that purpose. Plus, you should never apply silver sulfadiazine if you are allergic to sulfa drugs.
