A member asked:

How long will my stye last if on septra (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Stye: Even on antibiotics, a stye may persist, because the fibrous core is very difficult to eliminate. Hot compresses and topical antibiotic may help. If the stye persists, it may need to be drained by your ophthalmologist.
