Not likely but: Since you have been so careful and patient you may cut the .5 in half and take that for 2-4 weeks - then cut the 1/2 on half for another 2-4 weeks and stop

Yes.: Ativan (lorazepam) should only be taken for a limited period of time for the acute symptoms of anxiety while your antidepressant medication is getting in your system. You should also try alternative ways to control your anxiety such as behavioral techniques, mindful breathing and meditation.
