After period: The first menstrual cycle usually comes 2-6 weeks after a miscarriage. It varies because the BHCG will drop to zero at different rates in different people. Once it goes to zero then the ovaries start working again and a menstrual cycle comes 2-6 weeks later. When ovulation resumes one can get pregnant again
