Likely, never: some of it obviously depends on your symptoms and reasons you had the EGD to begin with. With chronic gastritis and assuming you had some abd pain/discomfort to begin with, they probably checked you for H.pylori and eradicated it if +ve. no particular follow-up is indicated for gastritis.
