What do you advise if i'm wondering how long does the cerclage procedure take?

Depends...: There are several different ways to do a cerclage. Some take longer than others. It also depends on your gestational age and how dilated your cervix is. In general it's a short procedure that takes 15-30 minutes. Best wishes!

McDonald: There are different types of cerclages, the way the banding of the cervix is done. The procedure that Dr. McDonald suggested can be done in less than 15 minutes - not counting the time for prepping and draping.
