Protection: Fair skinned people are more likely to have skin damage (sun burns) due to sun exposure. Optimally, limit sun exposure, wear clothes that cover the skin, wear a hat, and use a quality sun-screen on exposed areas. Anyone can get skin cancer. The idea is to limit the chances.
