Possibilities: Hi. While gestational diabetes is most likely type 2, I've seen many type 1s diagnosed during a pregnancy. Have your OB check type 1 autoantibodies. If positive, you have type 1. Jump on control (either an endocrinologist or HROB who's comfortable with type 1). Type 2 GDM usually isn't losing weight. Good luck!
