Cardiac evaluation: You may need a treadmill stress test. Laboratory blood work such as: fasting lipid panel, C reactive protein, homocysteine, basic metabolic panel. If you have swelling in your feet and lower legs or chest pain with exertion see your doctor ASAP. If the chest pain feels like an elephant is standing on your chest, have sweating and shortness of breath call 911 immediately.
