HPPD: Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder is produced by the chronic use of hallucinogens, like LSD, ecstasy, MDMA. These substances affect the perceptual fields (visual, auditory, gustatory, olfactory, tactile) perdurably. Therefore may have hallucinations when not intoxicated. For HPPD, the symptoms are solely due to drug use, not to schizophrenia or other psychosis or mental condition.
