Survive? Yes. Recc?: No. The 'double red' procedure removes two units of red blood cells, but returns the other blood components (plasma/platelets). Loss of 3 units (/pints) of blood happens in surgery and trauma often, and the body recovers over several days to cpl weeks. That is a strain and not recommended as a healthy / voluntary activity.
