Poor choice: Skin infections can arise from a myriad of sources. Ciprofloxacin may treat the particular microorganism, or it may do absolutely nothing. Recycling previously prescribe antibiotics is rarely a good idea, and less so if they were designed to treat a different body part. The wisest course of action is to see a doctor for evaluation and treatment.
